Make A Difference week 3

WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL BACK!!!
As we waited for a reply from the principal of FMSMS, we finally received one. Finally, the long wait has ended. As you see in the picture above, The principle from FMSMS gave us permission to donated school supplies to FMSMS. So now all we have to do is get the flyers up and decorate the boxes so we can present and get the donation boxes into the classrooms. What went wrong was that the principal didn't understand our proposal, He thought that we didn't send the proposal, but we did. That's okay though because we'll just send a new, The challenges that we faced was getting on track with our dates. We've been extending our dates. The things that I have learned through the process was that we need to stop delaying and just do what were suppose to do.  My skills have improved because we chose our new dates for the presentation which will be on the 14th or 21st of December. We needed to make some adjustments to our presentation dates but we got that all done already. Our groups next action are to present in the classes where we're gonna put the boxes in so they know what the donation boxes are for.
Here in this photo we met with are Mentees last Friday.

Making A Diffrence Week 2

-Our Progress!
        ~November 6, 2017:
On this day my group mates, Caress and Ruth went to FMSMS to get their consent, but unfortunately he wasn't there. So, they discussed our project to the School admin and got their approval. Since the principle wasn't in his office at the time my group mates went to FMSMS, we emailed him instead to inform him about the project that we were doing and why we were doing it. Below is a picture of the schools sign:

       ~November 14, 2017:
On this day, Me and Ruth, one of my group mates went to get boxes from a store called Hanam. We collected more than enough, just in case the boxes were filled. We will put these boxes that we in 4 classrooms in SSHS. What you can put inside is school supplies that we will donate to FMSMS. The picture below is the boxes we took from Hanam, the store:

The challenges that we have faced is the lack of communication with the FMSMS principle. Another challenged that we faced was that we didn't manage our time because we were so busy that we were stressing about it so much. From this experience I learned that we need to fix our schedules because we also need to take this project more seriously, I need to to start taking this project more seriously. Over the past few days, I took this project more seriously and started to try and get things done on time.
Our group is on track right now. We got accomplished the things that are needed to be done with our project. We need to adjust our timeline because we can't really follow our timeline correctly because were all busy. All we have to do now is post up the flyers and do our presentations in the 4 classrooms that we are going to put our boxes so, they know what the purpose of the boxes are for.

Make A Difference Day 1

Make A Difference Day 1:

-Meeting the Mentor

On Thursday, Oct. 26, we met with our mentor, Ms. Camacho, to discuss about our project. We gave Ms. Camacho our projects template so she can have a better understanding on what our projects going to be about.
We as a group, faced many challenges during this week. One of the challenges that we faced was on Oct. 20, 2017, we were suppose to meet our mentees on this day, but we had a sanctioned activity for our Anatomy class. So, our mentees didn't get to have a better understanding of what our project is about. So, in order to meet up with them we went to Ms. Mettao's class to schedule a meet up the following day. But on the day of the meet up they did not come. So just me and my group mates went to go meet up with our mentor.  I learned that to prevent this problem from happening again, one of our members will stay if another sanctioned activity ever happens again. The skills that I have improved are from the problems we faced.
We are not on track as of right now. We are actually a little behind than the others, due to the sanctioned activity, but I think we will be able to be on track soon. The adjustments that we need to make in our project is the information that we don't have from our mentees and the timeline. Our next action to make in our project is to meet up with both our mentees and mentor at the same time to discuss more about the project.
